Lately, I've been listening to a lot of joints from Raekwon. I took it back to the Purple Tape era and to listen to that album and experience the uncut, raw dopeness of it all is just...well, if you haven't heard the Purple Tape then I suggest you go out and find it.

Since those days of long ago Raekwon has dropped a couple more solo albums, but neither had the fierceness of the Purple Tape. And then word began to leak that Shallah Raekwon was working on the sequel to a classic. It's been at least 3 years since I heard about the sequel. As a matter of fact, the album has supposedly been done for a couple of years now, but still no release.

This album is almost mythical now but seeing as how I've been putting myself in that Purple Tape frame of mind, I decided to package together some of the songs that I've seen floating around that supposedly come from this project. And for good measure, I included song titles (unlike the last time that I put this type of compilation together).
